Ibuprofen Aurovitas is an over-the-counter medicine that contains the active ingredient ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen Aurovitas relieves pain and inflammation of various origins. Ibuprofen also reduces the fever that accompanies illnesses such as colds. It is used in particular for headaches, toothaches, backaches, painful menstruation, muscle and joint pain accompanying influenza diseases, soft tissue injuries such as bruises and sprains. It is also used, for example, in febrile conditions in influenza diseases or as an adjunctive treatment for magnesium conditions in other diseases.
Ibuprofen belongs to the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It prevents the production of tissue-active substances called prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation and are released at the site of tissue damage.
The coated tablets are swallowed whole, washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
